Current World Champion crew, Ali Tezdiker at “Cabo da Roca” will race with me in Cascais.
The Club Naval de Cascais has an excellent Race Management Team and super club facilities as proved when they hosted the 2017 Dragon World Championships. Next week we will see top Dragon Sailors including local favourite Pedro Andrade (winner of 1st Grade 1 in Cannes), Pieter Heerema (NED), Peter Gilmore (AUS & JPN), Gerry Trentesaux (FRA), Javier Scherk (ESP), Martin Byrne (IRE), Anatoly Loginov & Dmitry Samokhin (RUS), Hugo Stenbeck (SUI), Jens Rathsack (MON), Jose Matoso (POR) & Grant Gordon (GBR) the list of top sailors competing goes on and on……..
Teams will have a choice of swing moorings or marina berthing in Cacsais.
Although I hope to race myself, I will endeavour to write a blog or two (depending on how much Guinness is consumed at O’luains Irish Bar) 🙂 Plus we will have “Icarus Sports” filming the whole event, as they did so successfully in Cannes. So more to follow….
