Yes Camper’s and fellow sailors all over the word, the weather in Portugal has let down nearly 40 boats over the past two days. After the first recalled start on Friday, due to a 20 degree wind shift, there has been no more racing in Cascais. Yesterday (Saturday), there was enough wind to sail, but it was too foggy, so sailors from all over Europe could only sit around until the early “Happy Hour” at 4.00pm. Then they were still sitting, but also drinking !!!
Today the PRO of the Club de Naval Cascais, hopes to sail 3 to 4 races, so the start time has been moved forward to 10am. Let’s hope the weather returns to “normal” and the large fleet can finish with a nice day of sailing……
