Today should have brought us the first race of the Coupe de Bretagne here in Douarnenez but the weather gods have been in bad form this afternoon and as a result it hasn’t been possible to run the single planned race. ¬†The boats went afloat on time for the anticipated 2.30 start and for almost three hours the race committee tried to find stable wind for them, but a series of thunderstorms rolling around the area have kept the wind going around in circles and refusing to settle long enough to enable a race. ¬†Right now the Dragons are heading back to the dock and we’ll get a more detailed report from Stavros shortly.
