In the end it was “Easy” for Michael Zankel, Diogo Pereira and Joao Matos Rosa in POR 90 as they won the Italian Grand Prix in Malcesine without having to sail the final race.
The Portuguese team’s remarkable consistency culminated in a win in the 7th race which meant they could head for an early lift out with an unassailable points lead.
Second overall was YRed (JPN 56) helmed by Peter GILMOUR and crewed by Yasuhiro YAJI and Sam GILMOUR. They finished up just 2 points clear of Klaus DIEDERICHS in Fever (GBR 819), crewed by James Antony LEA and Ruairi SCOTT who had to be content with third place.
