This year’s British Dragon Association Edinburgh Cup, for the Open British Championship, and Northern Area Championship, to be held in Abersoch from 9-16 July, are looking all set for one the biggest entries in recent years. Already 39 teams have confirmed their intention to race and the BDA anticipates a final entry of over 40 boats.

The quality of competition will be extremely high. Last year’s winner Klaus Diederichs returns to defend his title and will be challenged by Simon Brien and Cameron Good heading up a strong contingent from Ireland, Olga White and Mikhail Muratov from Russia with their Murka boats, while Gavia Wilkinson-Cox and Rob Campbell lead the charge from the UK fleet. The growing local Abersoch fleet will be out in force and provides a solid backbone for the entry list and International Dragon sailors are invited to come and join the fun.
