Hooray! We’re all set for a fantastic last day here in Balaton. For the first time all week we woke up to the sound of the wind in the trees outside our house and from the media centre I can hear the waves breaking on the lake shore just across the lawn from us. The wind has clocked a bit overnight and is now around South Westerly and well into the teens.
Its going to be a nail biting finish today with just one race to sail and the championship still wide open. Although Markus Wieser leads Anatoly Loginov by three points with Stephan Link eight points adrift in third it is far from a done deal as none of these boats has a good discard.
