Principle Race Officer Klaus Lahme and Jury Chairman Tony O’Gorman have just completed their day one competitors briefing here at the Regatta Centre in Boltenhagen and as I type the teams are heading for the dock and the race course ready for the first race of the championship. We have just one race planned for today with a start time of noon. Its currently overcast and a little drizzly but the forecast is for north westerly winds of around 10-12 knots so hopefully the teams will have good racing. We’ll have a full update for you later today.
