Winners of Race 1 in San Remo, Simon Fry, Andy Beadsworth & Ali Tezdiker (Owner).
It was all smiles today, Friday 24th (apart from Simon Fry), for TUR 1212 “Provezza Dragon” as they won the first race of the Italian National Championships in San Remo. After a frustrating day ashore yesterday, the 36 boat fleet started the race in a North Easterly wind of around 15 knots which saw the new “V6” Petticrows open up a nice advantage from GER 1177 “Pow Wow” helmed by Pedro Andrade (in Michael Zankel’s absence).
