22+ Dragons are Ready for the 28th “Drag’s Cup” on Lake Cazaux, near Arcachon, France.
Yves Leglise, one of our favourite National Race Officers will be welcoming competitors to his “Home Yacht Club” on the beautiful fresh water “Lake Cazaux” tomorrow for the 28th edition of the “Drag’s Cup”.
With 22 boats already registered, Yves is hoping that a few more late entries will turn up for this “Festival” of Sailing on this wonderful lake set deep in the woodlands just a few miles inland of the West Coast of France…
Having attended 14 times, 5 of them victorious, it is a place I always enjoyed & although I am unable to attend this year, I am sure competitors will have a fantastic event both on and off the water…
The Club President is already working hard in the new kitchens to prepare evening meals.
There are plenty of races over the 4 days and with 3 evenings of locally prepared food and delicacies all washed down with copious amounts of regional wine, I am still tempted to jump on a plane tomorrow to join in the fun ! 🙂
