It’s been a day of excitement and a little drama here in Douarnenez. The sailors are just off the water and we can confirm that Markus Wieser is heading up the rankings after the first two races with Anatoly Loginov second and Lawrie Smith third. We’ll have a report from Stav for you shortly but in the meantime here are the PROVISIONAL RESULTS AFTER TWO RACES.
Please note – there are a number of protests for the Jury to hear this evening including a request for redress from Lars Hendriksen who was forced to pull out of the first race following a start line incident which involved a number of boats. Lars was able to race in the second race which he went onto win so if he is successful in the protest room there could be some changes on the leader board.
