Martin Pålsson with crew Göran Alm and Gustavia Gärdebäck have just won their tenth national Swedish Championship title against a large international fleet of 30 boats. Martin, who is on the Board of the International Dragon Association, won his first national title in 1996 and his consistency in recent years has been remarkable.
As well as the large Swedish entry, there were teams from Norway, Denmark, Finland and Estonia. This is a very encouraging sign for the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP in Estonia next year when we will hope to see many more entries from Northern Europe and further afield.
