XPENG Joins 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship as Official Mobility Partner
XPENG has been announced as the Official Mobility Partner of the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship.
The partnership will see XPENG bring its latest electric models and X2 flying vehicle concept to the championship, combining advanced mobility technology with one of sailing’s most historic international classes.

The Dragon was drawn in 1929 and has been raced in Hong Kong since 1932. While firmly rooted in tradition, the class continues to embrace innovation, with efficiency, aerodynamics and precision remaining central to both Dragon sailing and modern mobility engineering.
Ken Wong, for the Organising Committee, said: “The Dragon fleet is rooted in tradition, but it has always embraced innovation.”
The partnership brings together the heritage of the Dragon Class with XPENG’s focus on advanced electric mobility and future technologies.
